Reflecting on 2023, we are truly grateful for the invaluable partnerships that have helped Siyakwazi grow and thrive. Here’s at look at some of the highlights from the year
138 babies and their parents/ guardians were supported through Siyakwazi’s Early Learning 0-2 programme, including home visits to support learning and participation, access to age-appropriate learning resources and monthly nutritional support.
121 children with disabilities and their families were supported holistically through the Inclusion programme, providing home visits, termly Therapy services, psychosocial support, income-generating skills development, and accelerated assistance in healthcare, social, and education support. Additionally, monthly porridge and adhoc food parcels were provided.
471 children at risk of falling behind were identified and supported through Siyakwazi’s Catch-up programme in pre-Grade R, Grade R and Grade 1 (34 Primary Schools and ECD centres). The process supported 6 children with underlying conditions transition into Siyakwazi’s Inclusion programme.
